We want you to be confident using BillIQ. If something goes wrong with a payment, we'll make it right. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
1. Free plan
The Free plan (7 uploads/month) requires no payment and therefore has no refund.
2. When you're eligible for a refund
We issue a full refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate payments. If you were charged twice for the same billing cycle, we refund the duplicate in full.
- Technical failure on our side. If a verified BillIQ outage or bug prevented you from using your paid plan for more than 48 hours in a billing cycle, we refund a pro-rated amount or extend your subscription.
- Accidental charges. If you were billed after cancelling, or charged for a plan you didn't intend to upgrade to, we will reverse the charge.
- Unauthorised payment. If a payment was made on your account without your authorisation, contact us immediately and we will investigate and refund as appropriate.
3. When refunds aren't available
- Change of mind after the billing cycle has started and the service was usable.
- Partial-month usage where the plan was working as expected.
- Disagreement with AI-generated extractions or insights (these are estimates — see our Terms).
- Account suspensions for breach of our Terms of Service.
4. How to request a refund
- Email ai.business.support.team@gmail.com from the address registered to your BillIQ account.
- Subject line: "Refund request — <your registered email>".
- Include: the Razorpay payment ID (visible in your Razorpay receipt), the date of the charge, and a short description of the issue.
5. Processing time
- We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are initiated via Razorpay within 5 business days.
- The amount typically reaches your bank, card, or UPI account within 5–7 business days after that, depending on your issuer.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime from the Billing page. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the paid period, and we do not bill you again. Cancellation by itself does not trigger a refund — see Section 2 for refund eligibility.
