The agreement between you and BillIQ when you use the platform.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BillIQ website, application, and APIs (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

BillIQ uses artificial intelligence to extract fields from invoices and to generate analytics, GST estimates, and business insights. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. BillIQ output is not professional tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing every figure before relying on it for filing, payment, or any business decision. Always consult a qualified Chartered Accountant for tax and statutory matters.

5. Your data & content

You retain all rights to the invoices and data you upload ("Customer Data"). You grant BillIQ a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you. We will not sell Customer Data and will not use it to train public AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages (e.g. Razorpay, AI providers), force majeure events, or required security work may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for losses arising from such interruptions.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if:

8. Intellectual property

BillIQ, the BillIQ logo, the application, models, and all related intellectual property are owned by us. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillIQ's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to applicable consumer-protection laws of your state.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
